The Flora S. Salas Legacy Fund

To honor the remarkable contributions of Dean Emeritus Flora S. Salas to the growth and development of Pharmacy and Medical Technology education in the University of San Agustin and in Western Visayas, the USAPMTIAA is deeply proud to establish The Flora S. Salas Legacy Fund.

This fund aims to perpetuate her lifelong dedication to academic excellence by supporting the following annual awards:

1. The Dean Emeritus Flora S. Salas Most Outstanding Graduate in Pharmacy

This award is given to the BS Pharmacy graduate with the best academic performance in his or her class. A ₱ 5,000 cash prize will be awarded annually.

2. The Dean Emeritus Flora S. Salas Most Outstanding Graduate in Medical Technology

This award is given to the BS Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science graduate with the best academic performance in his or her class. A ₱ 5,000 cash prize will be awarded annually.

3. The Dean Emeritus Flora S. Salas Outstanding Performance in Philippine Board Examination Award

This award is given to a graduate in Pharmacy or Medical Technology who achieves First Place in his or her Board Examination. This award consists of a ₱10,000 cash prize.

Through these awards, we hope to honor her enduring legacy as an exceptional educator and as the longest-serving Dean of both the College and the University.

To ensure the long-term sustainability of this Legacy Fund, our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000. The fund will be managed as an endowment, with only the annual interest used to finance these awards, thereby ensuring their continuity for generations to come.

Alumni and friends are invited to contribute to this cause, with donations starting at $25 and up. The USAPMTIAA is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation to this fund is tax-deductible. Please consult your accountant for details.
